Essmaa Litim, known by her stage name as Yessmaa, is a Boston-based poet who has performed for a plethora of organizations such as WGBH, SOB’s in NYC for Poetry Me Please, PUMA, Sofar Sounds, Tufts University, Harvard University, The Hatch Shell at the Esplanade, Voices in Power, Boston Book Festival x Mass Poetry, Boston Scores at The Strand Theatre, Maverick Landing Community Services, The Cantab Lounge, Femme Bar, HUE, Peabody Essex Museum, and many more.
Essmaa has since launched her first poetry collective, Femme Flo, a poetic installment curated to cultivate a community of femme poets in Boston and beyond.
